After being out of action for one year Dale Steyn marked his comeback in international cricket in the T20I series against England. The speedster's career in the last few years has gone bad due to injury as he was injured during the IPL 2019 while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore and then even before the start of the World Cup 2019 he again sustained another injury.
Now, the South Africa National Cricket Team announced the players who have been contracted for the 2020-21 season and the big-name Dale Steyn misses out from here. Cricket South Africa released the list of 16 men cricketers and 14 women cricketers who have been contracted for the 2020-21 season.
CSA Acting Chief Executive - Dr. Jacques Faul said, "We have contracted 16 men's players and 14 women's players which we feel is the appropriate number to maintain our national squads across the various formats."
